Job Seekers Can Win Résumé Critique at Career Advantage Job Fair

The American Industrial Hygiene Association's 2008 CareerAdvantage Job Fair is currently taking place at AIHce 2008 through tomorrow, from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Sponsored by the AIHA Career and Employment Services Committee, the job fair is intended to facilitate connections between employers and occupational and environmental health and safety (OEHS) professionals. In addition, it also provides valuable opportunities for companies to maximize their exposure when searching for employees.

Employers and recruiters use the event to fill critical positions and expand their personnel options through the job fair. Those who are searching for qualified professionals are able to:

  • Access an exclusive audience of OEHS professionals by posting job openings online
  • Post their job listing on the main CareerAdvantage Web site until June 30, 2008
  • Access the searchable résumé database to find candidates attending the job fair
  • Set up on-site interviews with selected candidates online, in advance
  • Network with OEHS professionals

For job seekers, the job fair offers career counseling, free résumé postings, onsite interviewing, accessibility to job postings, and networking. Job seekers can also win a free résumé critique by certified career management coach Joan Runnheim Olson. In addition, AIHA will host the following seminars and self-help workshops for AIHce attendees.
